Abstract:

This investigation (11 experiments) was conducted for identification and selection of new and high yield varieties and lines of lentil that had desirable characters. Some of advanced lentil Jines selected iTom last years experiment and studied in 5 province of Iran. Experiments of A test and A 1 test in Ardabil and Maragheh research stations; A2 Test only in Maragheh station; materials A3 test obtained from experiment LIDTN-2003 in Ardabil, Ghazvin and Zanjan; BI test obtained from last year experiment in Shirvan station and B2 test with 13 lines obtained from A test last year experiment only in Ardabj station. The number of selected lines was 10 to 15 per area. Seed bed preparation such as tillage was done in accordance with dry farming in autumn. Snowing dates were Mars to April months. Experimental design was completely randomized block in three replications for A Test and four replications for B Test. Each plot was containing of 4 lines in 4 meters in A Test experiments and 4 lines in 6 meters in B Test experiments. Some of traits measured by use of dry fanning institutes fonns during of groWth and development. Statistical analysis was done by use of grain yield, and compariso~ of means was done by use of LSD relative to aerial control in each region for al1 of experiments. Simple ANDV A were done for each region. But we can not done combined analysis because of differences between number and kind of treatments. ANOV A showed that replications had not significant differences in many stations and experiments. Differences between treatments were significantly in probability level of %1 and %5. Table of mean comparisons showed that 4 lines held in A class. and 2 lines in B class relative to control in A Test experiment. One line had high yield relative to control and classified in B class in B Test experiment. Drought and freezing stresses destroyed experjments of Maragheh station. In Ghazvin station, one line held in B class and had high yield relative to control in B test experiment. In Shirvan and Zanjan stations, there were not significant differences between treatn1ents.
