Abstract:

In order to determine the most suitable rain saving method, the best irrigation period, suitable sowing distance and the best tree species for reforestation, an split-split plot experimental design with four replication was conducted in south regions of sistan and baluchestan province in Iran. The main factor was rain saving method with two levels(turcinest and soil small dam), the sub factor was irrigation period with three levels ( 10, 20 and 30 days interval) and the sub-sub factor was sowing distance with two levels( 6*6 and 10*10 meter). The results of experiment showed that the most suitable species for reforestation in dashtyari region in chabahar is Acacia nilotica. Other suitable species was Prosopis cineraria. The best irrigation period was 10 days interval between two irrigation, because the stablishment of species was suitable with this irrigation treatment. 20 days interval was acceptable for regions that water isn't very available. Two methods of rain saving didn't have any effect on stablishment of species. The distance between trees treatment didn't have any effect on survival and stablishment of species in five years of experiment.
