Abstract:

The number of boll per surface unit(~ and its shedding determinates yield in cotton . The boll shedding in cotton is a physiological natural reaction to inside and outside factors that it was regulated by ratios of honnonal and nutritional. Therefore, in this study, the effect of different of naphthalene acetic acid (0, 20, 30 & 40 ppm NAA) and di.ammonium phosphatee 0% & 2.5% DAPH ) investigated on reduction of cotton bon shedding and cotton yield increasing. This study was carried out by use of factorial experiment in randomized complete block design at Kashmar and Esfahan agricultural research station in 2002. The obtained results from simple and compound analysis, showed that application of ( especially 30 and 40 ppm NAA) were caused non significant increasing of yield and yield components in respect with control. Also (NAA) were caused non significant reduction of boll shedding, but foliar application of (DAPH) had not any obvious effects on yield and yield components.
