Chemical composition and antimicrobial effects on Salmonella typhimurum of 1: essential oils from Zataria multiflora, Mentha puJegium, Origanum vulgare, .Foeniculum vulgare were studied, by disck diffusion method, minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC).The essential oils were bactericidicd aganst on S.typhimurum . Chemical composition of the essential oils were analyzed by gas chromatography and spectrometry (GC and GCIMS ) .Foure COiTUnon chemicial compounds of ; terpine, thymol, carvacrol, a -terpine were found at various Concentration in Z.multiflora, M.pulegium ,O.vulgar.
