Abstract:

Citrus is important as economic, in habitant s engagement and the role in society health.Balance nutrition is one of the effective factors to increase production that potassium as an macro element is in precedence. In this study was done separately in two orange varieties with sprinkle irrigation method to investigate potassium effectiveness on yield and quality features. The experiment was conducted in randomize complete block designe (RCBD) in three replications in 4 years with five treatments inocluding 0, 200, 400, 600 and 800 g k2o per tree from source of potassium sulphate.The result indicated that the effect of potassium on yield in every variety was significant and the maximum yield in two varieties related to 400 grams k2o. In the first year, the effect of patassium on yield was more than the other years. The results of fruit qualitative analysis showed that potassium is effective on quality features in both of two varieties. In Valencia variety, K had significant effect on quality characteristics such as vitamin C, citric acid, pH of juice, average weight of fruit, percent of pulp, skin of fruit and their equals and in Washington navel variety on vitamin C, density of fruit and average wieght of fruit Addaition use of patassium caused increasing leaf potassium concentration and had a little effect on the other elements.
