Enterprise Resources Planning and New Leverages: Knowledge Management and E-business abstract
ERP systems are usually implemented to improve organizational effectiveness. E-business and KM make ERP more effective in this process. The purpose of this paper is to present an evaluation of ERP systems and shows that ERP systems support effectiveness criteria, related to goals of organizations in new electronic age. The study aimed to answer the following questions: What are the similarities and differences between ERP, E-business and KM in terms of their characteristics? How do ERP, E-business and KM influence each other when they are implemented within a single organization? How does the combination of ERP, E-business and KM influence organizational efficiency and flexibility?
