Nanomaterials as a new technology in water and wastewater treatment

over two thirds of earths surface is covered by water , then one of the most types of pollution is water pollution which leads to respiratory complications and other health problems the accumulation of contaminants in watewater is caused serious environmental problems and removal them from water is very important. a number of processes have been developed for water treatment . these methods includes heat treatment , filtration and UV as physical and chlorination and ozonation as chemical processes beside these methods nanomaterials as a recent technology have been used extensive in many fields particular in water treatment. in this study we explain methods that are used in water treatment and in continuance discuss about advantages and defects of nanotechnlogy as a recent process in water treatment.
