Study the Role of Research in Design Process of Architecture Profession

The study of the design process of architectural offices shows that there are two aspects of design research and practice. Understanding the significance of research and practice in the field of office design process leads to the question, what is the role of research and design practice in architectural offices based on different approaches? How research in the design process has the best effect on the final product? Since many different parts and angles of the design method and effect of research on the architecture profession are unknown, the role of research in the design process in the architecture profession in the UK offices was examined, as well as the architects of the profession in education and training in this field were interviewed in Tehran. The cases discussed in this study are summarized in this paper. It is valuable to summarize the opinions of experts on the effect of research on the design process in architecture profession.
