Abstract:
Noise pollution is one of the risks in the industrial environment that depending on the duration of exposure, leads to create short-term and long-term effects on the employees. Methods: Essential measures carried out in order to check the status of noise pollution in an industrial unit and an audio map prepared, to achieve this aim. In this study, in order to noise measurement, environmental measurement and evaluation methods were used. Afterwards, based on the risk assessment method of "William Fine" the intensity and probability of the possible consequences of noise exposure were scored by skillful experts that according to the results, evaluation and classification of risk areas of pollute were studied and all high-risk areas were identified medium and low level. Results: According to the scoring of experts in the William Fine technique, ranking of the risks of industrial units under investigation was achieved separately in levels of high, medium and low Level. In this study the second floor had a highest level of noise intensity with 95.2 dB as a most dangerous region and Control room had lowest level of noise intensity as a most safe region of factory. Discussion: in order to decreasing the level risk of all 11 areas is required to use controlling solutions such as training of workers, doing reforming measures, using the control risk guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment ,to create the safe limited area
