Traditional medicines or folk medicines in worldwide are the synthesis of the therapeutic experience of generations of practicing physicians of indigenous systems of medicine. Recently, Herbal products are increasingly used, mainly in human illnesses. Essential oils are botanical origin complex mixtures of volatile aroma compounds. These oils are derived by mechanical pressing, hydro distillation, steam distillation or supercritical fluid extraction of virtually every plant parts such as leaves, flowers, bark, stems, roots and seeds. Golbahar Gostar Company after examining various materials and compounds, has obtaind herbal distillate of Prostocin with compounds such as phenolic compounds , strols, salicylates, minerals and vitamins preventing prostate cancer it also plays an effective role in improving the symptoms of (BPH).This review investigates the available studies on the pharmacological effects of some medicinal plants (Fumaria officinalis, Cichorium intybus, Salix alba,Olea europaea, Allium sativum and Urtica dioica) used in the herbal distillate of Prostocin .The present study incorporated a detailed interpretation of the six medicinal plants, emphasizing its therapeutic uses, pharmacological properties such as anti-inflammatory effects and antioxidant activities, and mechanism of action based on preclinical and clinical studies, safety issues along with the current research potential of the medicinal plants.
