The role of cadastre in preparation of land use map (Case study: Lalehzare-no neighborhood)

The growth and development of communities in the world requires information on land use, and this is essential for planning, development and control of land use. Similarly, planning and development requires an effective management system. The digital cadastre system is a comprehensive solution for accessing geographic information within the Arc GIS framework. In this research, we have tried to study the land use of Lalehzare-no neighborhood using descriptive-analytical method. Therefore, using digital cadastral maps and field surveys, a satisfied user map of Lalehzar No neighborhood has been prepared in Arc GIS software. The results of this study show that commercial use has been identified as the dominant use in the neighborhood and then industrial-workshop use in the neighborhood is high. Most of the valuable buildings of the neighborhood, which were once known as the cultural-recreational space of Tehran, have become warehouses for commercial goods in the neighborhood. Therefore, it is necessary for the city management to take measures in the field of improving and renovating the neighborhood in the field of single historical buildings in the neighborhood. In addition, the land use map obtained from digital cadastral maps can examine the per capita land use at different scales, examine the satisfied land use radius, and also examine land use changes.
