He is a Committed Shiite poet a man of letters who has demonstrated his loyalty and commitment to the Shiite religion and Ahle-Beyt in many of his poems. There is one of the Sahib’s most famous and outstanding odes. Praising Imam Ali (PBUH) is the ode title Lamiyya in which he describes the virtue of his majesty very eloquently. Sahib’s panegyric of the Imam is this ode that originated in his heart and deep faith, and in fact these verses are clear and fascinating adaptations of Quran verses and Narrations which depict an invaluably and precious picture of Imam Ali’s personality. Although it is not possible for the mortal pen to describe this diamond of creation, in this article we try to study some aspects of Imam Ali’s personality which Sahib-Ibn-e-Ebad has noticed in his ode.
