Modeling viscosity of water in presence of nanoparticles

Abstract:
In this article, five nanofluids containing water as base fluid were studied and their absolute viscosity wastheoretically calculated from three various models at different temperatures and concentrations ofnanoparticles. The nanofluids contain nanoparticles as Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2, GQD (graphene quantum dot),CuO. The simple models are based on the viscosity of the base fluid and volume fraction of thenanoparticles. The results of different models were compared with experimental data and absolute averagerelative deviation (AARD) between experiment and the results of models were obtained as 23.7 %, 24.08 %,25.2 % for model 3, model 1, and model 2, respectively.
