The Effect of different wall insulation on Reduction of Heating Loads in Buildings located of Iran abstract
External walls of the building have the highest amount of heat loss in the building, so creating solutions to prevent heat loss reduces the costs of energy consumption. In this study, a building in four different climates of Iran has been considered. The Effect of using different wall insulation materials such as Expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF), Glass wool, stone wool, and organic material Vegetable fibre sheathing has been simulated by DesignBuilder software. The simulation results show that different insulators have the best thermal performance in Iran's temperate climate and lower performance in the hot and humid climate. Also, SPF insulation has the best thermal performance in reducing the building's heating load in different climates.
