Smart volume controller of sounds abstract
In this paper, we are trying to analyze audio signals by a microcontroller. Analyzing these signals, in order to control the volume of devices and reduction in noise pollution, makes the volume of our devices smart. First, the audio signal goes through the analog algorithm, and after applying the analog processes and algorithms (DC level shifter and amplifying) on the microphone signal, the appropriate signal enters the main processor (ADC unit of the microcontroller to convert the signal). Then the digital signals are processed and analyzed according to the digital algorithm, that defined in the microcontroller. Thus, our microcontroller detects the best volume of sound according to the intensity of the ambient sounds and orders the volume to the system and the detected volume adjusts the output gain of the system. Consequently, we have a smart system that controls its volume without a manual adjustment.
