Abstract:
The search for job performance enhancement and improving employee efficiency from a managerial perspectiveis, in many ways, eternal. The linkage of mindfulness to enhanced job performance can also be explained from the practice-enhancing propensity to innovate in the workplace. Organizational commitment is one of the most widely researched topics in the field of organizational behaviour. Building organizational commitment among employees is one of the important factors for ensuring organizational effectiveness. This is because committed employees can lead to favourable organizational outcomes. A principle of organizational commitment implies that employees make a decision to stay or leave the organization. Organizational commitment can be used to infer whether an employee will choose to continue his membership in the organization. Therefore, organizational commitment is more likely to increase when group member scan perceive shared vision and support from shared leaders. Overall, organizational commitment can be defined as the degree to which an employee develops a feeling of belongingness to his or her organization.
