Abstract:
The study of the building's external wall components can help analyze and reduce the building's energy consumption and the ambient conditions inside the zones. using different glazing systems on interior lighting, comfort conditions, and the building's cooling load was simulated for a building in Yazd in this study. According to the results, the zone’s internal temperature is the lowest average monthly temperature using thermochromic glazing. Also, if using the single-clear glass in the building, we will have the highest daylight penetration. If using the double-glazed thermochromic, we will have the least amount of daylight penetration. Finally, the cooling load of the zone using thermochromic double glazing is the lowest rate directly related to reducing energy consumption in the building
