Abstract:
Despite the fact that maintenance supplier selection strategies have an essential role in supply chain efficiency, it has not received enough attention in the literature. This paper aims to investigate outcomes of selecting each strategy. To do so, three scenarios—Predictive Maintenance with single supplier selection, Predictive Maintenance with multiple supplier selection, Condition Based Maintenance with multiple supplier selection are considered. In order to make a trade-off between objectives, a fuzzy goal programming approach is applied. Numerical examples are used to validate the proposed model, and results are compared to investigate each scenario’s effect. The results show that in situations where unreliability costs reduction has higher priority for a Decision-Maker, Condition-Based Maintenance with multiple supplier selection strategy is the preferred one.
