Abstract:

with the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic, following its first patient, in Wuhan in China, our knowledge as well as the symptoms produced by the disease has sharply increased to this day. Viral infections can such as COVID-19 can compound the severity of pre-existing inflammation caused by underlying diseases. For patients with Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the coronavirus disease serves to intensify the inflammatory burden and employ several strategies to perturb host cell immunity. Serum levels of intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) are highly expressed in many important processes such as chronic diseases, leukocyte endothelial transmigration and a number of malignancies. Portal vein tumor thrombus is a main difficulty of hepatocellular carcinoma andis associated with low survival. Some miRNAs play a necessary role in the growth of tumor cells. The aim of this study, analyzed the role of analyzed the role of 1285-3p and its target gene intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) in patients with covid-19 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma. So we searched in some database like NCBI, TargetScan, mirwalk, mirbase and David. Interestingly, we found that MiR-1285-3p could combine with 3'UTR of ICAM-1 by bioinformatics prediction. Further confirmed that mir-1285-3p could target ICAM-1 and inhibit its expression in Toll like receptor signaling pathway. The expression level of miR-1285-3p was down regulated, while the expression level of ICAM-1 was up regulated in HCC cancer. This research will help us better understand the pathogenesis of HCC in patients suffering from covid-19 and provide new insights into the treatment of this disease.
