Abstract:
The aim of present study was to find the effect of starting age of English learning on Iranian YoungEFL learners’ different aspects of attitudes toward learning English. For this aim, a group of 100 participantswere asked to answer an attitude questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS software and revealed aneutral with positive orientation attitude of Iranian young EFL learners toward English learning. It was alsofound that starting age of English learning could not significantly change the learners’ attitudes, althoughthose starting English before primary school had a bit more positive attitude toward learning English.
