Smart Membrane Structure with spatially distributed actuators abstract
In this paper, electromechanical equations of motion of smart membrane structure withdistributed actuators are presented. The smart membranes structure is made of an elastic coresandwiched between two distributed outer polyvinylidene fluoride layers, PVDF, withpiezoelectricity effect. The extensionactuation mechanism is applied inpiezoelectricity relations of smart membrane laminate. Forthis aim, polarization vector is parallel to the applied electric field intensity vector both parallel to the diagonal directions. The extended Hamilton’s principle of analytical mechanics is mechanized and the system dynamics is exploited. At last, forced electrodynamic analysis of structure under two types of applied voltage function and various locations of actuators are simulated.
