Abstract:
This study reports on the preparation and characterization of Aluminophosphate based Graphene (G/AlPO-۵) composite as a high-surface area support for the preferential oxidation of organic compounds under visible light. The composite was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The new photocatalyst was characterized by SEM ,DRS, XRD, FT-IR, nitrogen adsorption–desorption measurements and TEM. The powder X-ray diffraction indicated that G/AlPO-۵ composite contained both Graphene and AlPO-۵. The synthesized material (G/AlPO-۵) was a visible light-driven photocatalyst for degradation of organic materials.
