A modeling Investigation on role of dynamic on pollutants redistribution and ozone abstract
This study investigates impact of different dynamical event on pollutants redistribution and ozone formation in southeastern France , in this region and around it, the Pyrenees, Massif circulation associated with sea breeze. During ESCOMPTE campaign (June 10 to July 14, 2001). Two events characterized by various meterological situations are observed and simulated: Intense Observation Period (IOP) 2a and 2b both in June 2001, the comprehensive RAMS model , version 4.3 coupled on – line with a chemical module including 29 species is used to follow the chemistry of the zone polluted over this region . this on – line powerful . high resolution simulated meterologival fields are in good agreement with the surface stations measuremens. Due to two different dynamical conditions, in the first meteorological event the ozone concntrration is formed and localized over , sea but in the second we observe the ozone concrentration inland enclosed between Avignon city and Durrance valley.
