The Effect of Occupational Therapy Lifestyle Redesign on Successful Aging and Quality of Life in the Older Adults (Systematic Review)

Introduction: The increase in the elderly population is an undeniable reality of today's societies. The purpose of this study investigating The Effect of Occupational Therapy Lifestyle Redesign on Successful Aging and Quality of Life in the Older Adults.Method: Databases have been PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, SID, and Iran Doc. The main keywords were effect, Occupational Therapy, Lifestyle Redesign, Quality of Life in the Older Adults that were searched in the published papers during 2000-20. About 4 articles were found.Result: The results of the studies showed that the positive effect, Occupational Therapy Lifestyle Redesign on quality of life in older adults. The results of the articles show that Occupational Therapy Lifestyle Redesign can have a significant impact on quality of life and wellbeing of the elderly.Conclusion: According to the results observed in the studies, Occupational Therapy Lifestyle Redesign can be useful in improving the quality of life and aging in place of the elderly. Because the elderly population in the world is increasing, Occupational Therapy Lifestyle Redesign can play an important role in improving the quality of life in the elderly.
