Examining And Analyzing What The Concept Of Miracle Is Based On Islamic Discourse abstract

Among the extraordinary abilities bestowed on the prophets by God Almighty is miracles. According to the Islamic discourse, the main purpose of the existence of such a superhuman ability in the prophets is the belief of the people in the burden of the Almighty and the prophet, so that they can be guided and get rid of misguidance. In fact, the miracles of the prophets can be considered the seal of confirmation of their prophecy but some have considered the miracles of the prophets as magic and have tried to raise doubts about this ability and make people weak in faith. Therefore, familiarity with the concept of miracle and its purposes based on Islamic discourse, which is the most complete and perfect religion in the world, can save people from error and make them aware of the deception of unbelievers. This article examines and analyzes the concept of miracles and the purposes of performing it based on the verses of the Holy Quran and the views of Islamic thinkers in this regard. According to Islamic teachings and discourse, miracles are one of the ways in which true prophets can be identified as false claimants of prophethood; because this ability is given to the prophets only with the permission of God, and others are incapable of performing miracles.
