Abstract:

One of the major causes of image blurring is motion that is due to the camera or object motion. To restore the image properly, we should estimate the motion parameters such as its length and orientation. In this paper we introduce a new algorithm for motion parameters estimation using only one degraded image. This algorithm applies a method for motion orientation estimation which is very similar to previous works. For motion length estimation it uses Radon transform. Our experimental results showed that this method is highly robust in existence of noise.
