Abstract:
The mutual shadows caused by the shadowing of solar arrays on each otherin places with area limitation and desire to generate more power, causeshuge losses in solar power production of a power plant. Reconfiguring thearrays to distribute more these predictable shadows is one of the effectiveways to solve this problem.In this article a method for configuring solar arrays with TCT basedconnects for the purpose of maximizing the shadow distribution andreducing loss of ohmic connection has presented. This method, besidesreducing the effects of one-way mutual shadows, reduces ohmic lossescaused by connection wires between presentation modules. Comparisonsmade between this way of suggested configuration methods and the othermain methods which has not considered connection conductors ohmiclosses in optimizing function, shows a significant increase in productivityin mutual shadow condition. These results are calculated and compared forproductivity of a solar power production for a year.
