The principle of cooperation on air pollution in China and the United States in the context of international law with emphasis on 2015 Paris Convention abstract
This study aimed to investigate the principle of cooperation in air pollution in China and the United States in the context of international law with emphasis on 2015 Paris Convention.. Environmental security is an important part of national and human security. The Chinese governmental policy since then has been to purify the air so that citizens can enjoy clean, unpolluted-free air, and studies show that the measures taken have been largely effective but have not completely eliminated the problem. But behind all these measures, it seems that the Paris Convention has played an important role in controlling air pollution in general in the world and especially in China and the United States. It seems that according to the Paris Convention, these obligations will remove the existing legal obstacles and pave the way for cooperation between governments in general. Overall, the withdrawal of the United States significantly reduces the likelihood of achieving the goals of the Paris Convention and may even make that goal unattainable. China will continue to tackling climate change and fully respect its commitments. The US withdrawal from the Paris Convention is both a challenge and an opportunity for China. The consequences of the US withdrawal from the Paris Convention and the withdrawal from global climate cooperation are so profound that the major publishers must work together and react. This new partnership must be inclusive and bring together developed and developing countries. By withdrawing from the Paris Agreement, the United States has inflicted significant losses on other members and it benefit any country to repatriate the United States. China can change the course of the discourse by focusing more on energy efficiency and energy security and rather than on climate change through the G20, as well as practically enforcing Sino-US cooperation on nuclear energy, natural gas and clean coal. Finally, China can increase Sino-US cooperation at the provincial, state, and city levels.
