مثال انتصاب محتسب قزوین در سال ۱۰۵۸ قمری

شاه صفوی، دیوانسالاران و علما خود را در اجرای دستور الهی «امر به معروف و نهی از منکر،» مسوول می دانسته اند. در ساختار دیوانی دینی صفوی این از جمله وظایف شیخ الاسلام بوده است. اما در این نوشتار سندی ارائه شده که طی آن میرزا حبیب الله صدرممالک شخصی را به عنوان محتسب قزوین منصوب نموده تا علاوه بر اصلاح اخلاقی و اوضاع اجتماعی آن شهر، امور بازار را نیز ساماندهی نماید. در این نوشتار اطلاعات آن دوره درباره محتسب، اعم از سند و منابع کتابخانه ای مورد بررسی قرار گفته اند. ماحصل اینکه بایسته است برای مطالعه دوباره نقش های مناصب گوناگون شناخته شده در دیوانسالاری صفوی، به زمان و مکان هر منصب اهتمام داشته باشیم.  AbstractThe Safavid shah, political administrators, and the clergy took it upon themselves to implement the divine command of enjoining good and forbidding evil (amr bi l-maʻrūf wa nahī ʻani l-munkar). Within the religious structure of the Safavid state, this was one of the duties of the shaykh al-islam. The present paper, however, presents a document according to which the ṣadr al-mamālek-e maḥrūseh appoints someone as moḥtaseb of Qazvīn with instructions not only to oversee the moral & social reforms, but also to handle the economic affairs of the bāzār. This study then explores all the data gathered on the moḥtaseb, both from the document and other library sources of the period.
