Study on mathematical Simulation of gas flooding in Under Saturated Oil Reservoir in one of the NISCO'S Fields abstract
In this investigation, miscible gas injection is simulated in order to prevent reservoir pressure drop and increase oil recovery in one of the NISCO'S oil field. In this study, using the ECLIPSE 300, the effect of gas injection process on reservoir performance factors, such as cumulative oil production, reservoir pressure drop and reservoir oil production rate were discussed. Minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) of CO2 ,C1 and solvent (solvent: C130%+ C350%+ IC510%+ NC5%10) using slim tube test simulation were determined. Four scenarios are presented. First and second scenarios include one injection well at the top of reservoir with five production wells. Third and fourth scenarios are including three injection wells with five production wells, which all of them are drilled vertically. Results showed that the oil recovery factor in all four cases of miscible gas injection is more than natural depletion and also production rate in solvent injection is more than CO2 and C1 injection.
