Abstract:
The present study aimed to identify and prioritize the applications of IoT technology in human resource management. The present study is exploratory-applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection. This study is also a mixed research in terms of how data is collected. The statistical population of this study was industry experts in Khuzestan province. Samples were selected using purposive and available sampling method. In order to determine the sample size in the qualitative phase of the research to the theoretical saturation of the data and in the quantitative phase of the research to the most references are sufficient. In the qualitative phase of the research, semi-structured interview method was used to collect data. Qualitative phase data of the research were analyzed using qualitative content analysis technique. In the quantitative phase of the research, the data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Quantitative data were analyzed using the best-worst method. We also used Excel, Spss and Lingo software to analyze the data. The findings of the qualitative phase of the research included ۴ basic applications for the Internet of Things in the field of human resource management. These include HRM technologies, ease of human resource activities, assistance to human resource actors, and human resource development. The findings of the quantitative phase of the research showed that among the identified applications, the criterion of human resource development has the highest relative importance (weighing ۰.۳۸۶) and the criterion of ease of human resource activities has the least relative importance (weighing ۰.۱۴۵) from the perspective Industry experts.
