Abstract:
This paper propose a new miniaturized antenna that covering the industrial scientific medical (ISM) band ۲.۴-۲.۴۸۳.۵ GHz. The antenna consists of a rectangular patch with coaxial feed and Y slot. The compact size of the proposed antenna is ۸ × ۸ × ۱.۲۷ 𝒎 In the proposed antenna, simulated bandwidth is about ۱۶۰ MHz. The result was verified by CST software in a three-layer phantom and human tissues (skin, muscle, stomach, small intestine, and colon). For safety consideration the SAR analysis of the antenna configuration has been studied. The designed implantable microstrip patch antenna (MPA) features has been compared with previously reported implantable antennas
