Abstract:
The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of low power laser on spermatogenesis in testicular tissue of azoospermia mouse model in-vivo. In this experimental work, ۱۱۲ adult male Syrian mice were randomly divided into three groups (harboring ۸ mice each): negative control, positive (Azoospermia control) group and experimental group. To create azoospermia in positive animals, Busulfan were used at dose of ۱۰mg/kg, ۲۱ days by intraperitoneal injection. In the experimental group after Busulfan treatment, they were affected by low power diode laser (wavelength of ۸۰۸nm) at three different energy density of ۲, ۴ and ۸ J/cm۲. The employment of laser with an energy density of ۸ J/cm۲ was shower to be beneficial in boosting germ cell and sperm production.
