Abstract:
Pahlavi dynasty is characterized with diverse sociopolitical transformations which led to different changes in translation flow from foreign literature and also different styles and techniques used by the Iranian writers. The present study attempts to view the influence of literary translation upon Persian novelists as some readers of these translations during the Pahlavi dynasty through reception theory. As a conclusion, it appears that diverse political events as well as different cultural policies of the Pahlavi dynasty culminated in noticeable changes in translation flow and techniques used by the Persian novelists who wrote novels imitating French sentimental novels or Russian realistic literature and also American literature at this time.
