Abstract:

Remote sensing in combination with GIS technology provides valid scientific results andrecommendations that help decision-makers and planners to promote sustainable development, especially infast-growing urban environments. In this study, spatial data and Landsat satellite images of MSS (۲۰۰۰), TM(۱۹۸۹), ETM + (۲۰۰۰), and OLI (۲۰۱۵) sensors were used as the main information sources for preparing Landusemaps of Fooman County. Agricultural and residential uses increased at the end of the period and otherLand-uses decreased. Of course, changes in agricultural and rangeland-uses fluctuate and show different trendsin different periods. In the transfer of different Land-uses to agricultural as the mainland-use changes made inthis time interval, two Land-uses of forest and rangeland with (۹۵.۹۳%) and (۲.۶۳%) have the largest share,respectively. In general, the results of this study indicate a decrease in the forest, rangeland and an increase inresidential and agricultural areas during the study period in the region.
