Abstract:
The water- distilled essential oil from stems, leaves and flowers of salvia verticillate L.Were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. the major component of the flowers oil were β-gurjunene(۱۴.۵۶%),δ-Elemene(۹.۰۱%), and ۱,۸- cineol(۷.۳۶%).the main component inThe leaves oil were ۱,۸-cineol(۲۰.۱۴%), α-pinene(۱۶.۳%), δ-Elemene(۱۰.۳۸%), β-pinene(۹.۱۳%) and β-gurjunene(۵.۳۶%).The main constituent of the oil obtained from stems of the plant were ۱,۸-cineol(۳۵.۶۰%)and β-pinen(۶.۸۷%) .
