Four melon genotypes (Isabelle, Ogon۹, NBD-۹۲۹ and NBD-۹۴۳) were screened for resistance to Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. melonis race ۱ and ۱. ۲ using artificial inoculation procedure. The experiment was conducted in the ۲۰۱۹ cropping season in the research greenhouse of the Islamic Azad University, Khorasgan Branch. The analysis of variance showed significant differences within genotypes, Fusarium spp pathotype and days after inoculation, and their interactions. Isabelle, Ogon۹ and NBD-۹۲۹ had a good performance when inoculated with race ۱ and therefore classified as resistance. The line NBD-۹۴۳ showed more sever susceptibility to race۱ comparing to other genotypes. All of evaluated genotypes were susceptible to race ۱.۲. Finally, the line NBD-۹۲۹ was considered as a novel and suitable candidate for future resistance to Fusarium race۱ in breeding projects of melon.   Keywords: Cucumis melo L.
