The Relationship Between Real Estate Value and Urban Accessibility in City of Piacenza abstract
The real estate value within a city is related to the centrality and housing condition itself.The paper investigates the link between the residential property value and four factors: bathroom number, energy level, distance to the historical centre and integration of the street.100 observations gathered from the city of Piacenza, which collected from www.immobiliare.it and use DepthMapX to understand the spatial structure visually. The result shows in this city the value of the house is hedonic with the characteristic of the building and the distance to the centre, but the integration of the street doesn’t have strong influence.
