Adsorption Isotherms of Some Non -steroidal Anti inflammatoryDrug on Single -wall Carbon Nanotubes abstract
In this research, adsorption some of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugNSAIDs), (Diclofenac, Ibuprofen and Robaxin) on single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT from aqueous solution were studied. The adsorption equilibrium isotherms were fitted by Freundlich and Langmuir models. It was found that the Freundlich model described theadsorption process better than other one isotherm model. The amount of NSAIDs adsorbed on carbon nanotube surface increased with the increase of the initial NSAIDsconcentration. The results show that Ibuprofen has most amount adsorption rate of SWCNT.
