Synthesis and Characterization of Terminalia Chebula (TC) -loaded Chitosan Microcapsules abstract
In the current study, microcapsule vectors of Terminalia chebula (TC) were prepared using sonication method and characterized by different instrumental techniques. According to FTIR results, no interaction was observed between encapsulated Terminalia chebula and chitosan constituents. The particle size and size distribution were calculated 2–2.5 µm. SEM analysis showed micro sized globular and bilayer vesicles. Addition Zeta potential of TC microcapsules indicated 50Mv. EDX analysis confirmed the presence of various elements including C, O, N, F and Cl in the TC microcapsule
