Abstract:

The practice of global desalination has experienced an extraordinary expansion, where the total installed capacity has quadrupled over the last two decades. However, the energy for this process is also obtained from conventional fuels. The use of renewable energy (RE) for freshwater production has become an increasingly important goal in future regions, given the expected growth of the desalination sector in the future and the efforts needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. greenhouse. Expect water shortages. Reverse osmosis (RO) is a membrane-based process that currently dominates the desalination sector, but other desalination technologies are being explored. Sustainable nanotechnology has made a significant contribution to the provision of clean water for mankind. Extending the vision of sustainable and affordable clean water to the environment at large, we see that cities can live and breathe well when they adopt these technologies. Sustainability of clean water can be achieved by understanding global environmental challenges and exploring new nanotechnology.
