A Novel Conventional Quadratic Boost Converter with Continuous Input Current and High Voltage Gain abstract
In this study, a novel transformer less high gain DC-DC converter has been proposed. Two combined boost converters has formed the principle structure of the circuit. The continuity of the input current and the high value of the voltage ratio, the main brilliant features of the proposed converter, makes it suitable for applying in the renewable applications. The steady state analysis and the other mathematical relations of the converter operation have been obtained in continuous conduction mode (CCM). Moreover, the voltage ratio, component loss, and efficiency of the proposed converter have been compared with other high gain converters. Furthermore, the illustrated simulation results have been obtained by PLECS. Finally, the results have been compared with the theoretical values and converter correct function has been deduced.
