Disaster Assessment (3) abstract
INTRODUCTION: In the previous article, we referred to the initial rapid assessment, the collection of data and information, and the preparation of the status report and stated that in the rapid initial assessment, our goal is to use little information to provide an overview of the accident scene and started the operation faster. Therefore, we use the same people, who are more at the scene of the accident and can provide a general estimate of the event more quickly; however, they may not have high expertise and general knowledge and ability.
The effects that disaster has on society have many broad, complex, and ambiguous aspects that require more time, more knowledge, and more valuable experience. For this reason, detailed evaluation is called technical and specialized evaluation. In this article, we will try to address this important and especially the issues in the field of rescue operations.
