One of the main problems of power companies ispreparing their minimum requirements of supervisory controland data acquisition (SCADA) systems for power distributionautomation system. The aim of this paper is, firstly, to recall thebasic concepts of general requirement of system design specialfor preparing tender documents of SCADA system, and then toshow property the these systems for Power DistributionCompanies (PDC) on their distribution networks and theimportance of using computer based system towards sustainabledevelopment of their services.
