Synthesis of Phthalocyanine derivatives by synergistic effect of catalysts over nanodimensional zeolites under solvent-free conditions

Copper (II) phthalocyanine and ۲,۹,۱۶,۲۳ tetrakis nitro copper (II) phthalocyaninehas been synthesized respectively from phthalonitrile and ۴-nitro phthalonitrile under solvent-free condition using two different catalystsovernanodimensionalzeolites. ۴-Nitro phthalonitrile synthesized from phthalimide in three steps. The newly prepared compounds have been characterized by IR, UV-Vis, ۱HNMR and MS spectra.
