On biconservative hypersurfaces of pseudo-Euclidean ۵-space

In this paper, we study the ۱-biconservative timelike hypersurfaces of the pseudo-Euclidean ۵-spaceE۵۱. This research subject comes from the variational problem of the conservative stress-energy tensorassociated to the biharmonic submanifolds. We show that every ۱-biconservative Lorentz hypersurface ofE۵۱ with constant mean curvature and at least three principal curvatures has constant scalar curvature.
