Abstract:

For centuries, buildings were built according to their climate and environment. But withthe advent of modern architecture, everything that made our living environment alongwith wind, sun and rain a desirable space for living was forgotten. Therefore, traditionalsolutions should be changed in accordance with these changes. In this article, we havetried to examine the effect of windbreaks on ventilation and cooling and how to changetheir shape and application in today's buildings the windbreaks are designed with aclimatic approach and are known as a static cooling system and provide air conditioningusing renewable wind energy. The height of the windbreaks is that the farther thewindbreak is from the ground, the more access to the colder layers of air. The volumeof the windbreak body below the ground level, which is between ۹ and ۲۵ meters, willbe directly related to its cooling capacity. Also, today, despite the strong and lightmaterials and thermal insufficiency, windbreaks with high cooling capacity can be built, which have low space, especially in areas where space is scarce and expensive. And therole of right and wrong materials has a great impact on wind performance. We can alsoreplace modern rotary windbreaks with old windbreaks that can be aimed at the windturbine in the shortest time and at the lowest cost, and by using them again, we canreduce the rate of global warming. The information collected in this article is descriptive-analytical and is also based on libraryresearch.
