Effect of NaC6H7O6 on Rheology of enamel slip abstract
Alginate are known as a deflocculant in enamel slips. In order to obtain information on the optimumamount of alginate, the shear stress, rate and viscosity of alginate bearing slips were measured andresults showed that 1wt% of alginate sodium will form the Newtonian fluid. Also by alginate addition,the wetting angle of slip on stainless steel was 65. The appearance of deposited slip on steel after dryingwas completely smooth.
