Novel Glucose Oxidase-Based Formulations for Bacteria Removal From CoolingTower abstract
Decreasing bacterial load from water in cooling tower is very important. In this work, the synergy of couplingZnO with glucose oxidase in disinfection is investigated. XRD spectrum shows crystalline ZnO peaks. FTIRresults indicate functional groups of amoxicillin and glucose oxidase. The morphological changes of bacteriaafter being exposed to 0.002 and 2.5 g/l concentration of ammonium persulfate are presented in SEM imagesof bacteria. The adverse effect of water sample storage on disinfection is also reported.
