Abstract:

Introduction: Ergonomics is a science that recognizes the interaction between humans and devices in a way that is related to human characteristics and follows the working method to ensure complete health and optimal system efficiency. In today's world, where with the outbreak of the Corona virus, most businesses have undergone serious transformations and turned to telecommuting due to quarantine and business closures, the need to learn ergonomic principles is felt more than ever. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of ergonomics on teleworking during the corona. Methods: This study was a review study in which researchers searched potential texts for qualified articles in PubMed, Google Scholar and SID databases. For this purpose, thekeywords "telework", "ergonomics", "corona" were used to find related articles. After the reviews, a total of ۱۵ articles were retrieved in the period from ۲۰۱۵ to ۲۰۲۱, of which ۲ articles were deleted due to duplication, ۴ articles were not fully accessible, and finally ۹ articles were selected and entered into the study.Findings: Based on studies on ergonomics and problems caused by teleworking, the findings show that the least physical damage caused by teleworking is in ۱۱-۱۵ years of work experience and the most damage is in ۱۶-۲۰ years of experience. Measured also shows that ۴۰% of the subjects have moderate to severe musculoskeletal disorders and to test the knowledge of ergonomics, tests were taken before and after ergonomics training, which shows that ۸۵% of the subjects studied about ergonomics. They did not know ergonomics and their knowledge increased significantly after training. Conclusion: Based on the results of research, there is a significant relationship between musculoskeletal disorders related to work, age, work experience and working hours andequipment, and the most complaints are related to neck and knee pain and measures to reduce injuries. Due to non-observance of ergonomic principles in the corona, there are: trainings in this regard to increase people's knowledge of ergonomic principles and also rotation of people's work by changing the type of work is recommended to reduce injuries.
